I just found out my second full length screenplay became a finalist in the screenwriting competition at the Fright Night Film Fest. My first screenplay was a finalist at the Charleston International Film Festival and a top 3 finalist at the Ivy Film Festival. Fright Night Film Fest, for me, is such a higher accomplishment as it represents such a large horror community (I would say this is the highest honor I've received outside of a educational setting). I'm so grateful to be apart of this years competition.

"Plaything" - A shy young girl's teddy bear is more than what meets the eye when it comes to life to 'protect' her from the people around her.

Congrats! So weird too, because your description sounds like the Twilight Zone episode "Living Doll" which I watched Yesterday.
