Default Weirdest/Craziest food you've ever tried!!!!

Post the weirdest/craziest food you've ever tried, either on a dare or just out of plain curiosity. Please post your thoughts/reactions!

While on my recent trip to Hawaii, I tried fresh Calamari from a reputable Food Truck. I do have to say it was quite tasty...chewy, but tasty.

Fresh as in recently caught! Not sure how they cooked it, but it wasn't bad at all!

So far in life, I've eaten:

  • A deep-fried candy bar.
  • Snails.
  • Reindeer sausage.
  • Most recently, kangaroo meat.
  • Pizza with a slushie dumped on it.
  • Some weird combination of milk, mustard, mayonnaise, and I don't remember what. It was a dare.
  • A cookie dipped in hummus. I was a bit intoxicated when I did that.
  • Tried to emulate the Kispy Kreme burger once by taking a piece of a hamburger and wedging it between a pair of cookies. It was alright.
  • Not sure if it counts, but I did have the quad stacker from Burger King once. It will never happen again.

Also, I enjoy calamari, but I've never had it like the OP there. I did have a dish that had small mini octopusses in it, along with prawns with their heads still attached, shrimp, and something like five different kinds of fish.

You, sir, have done a commendable job eating as much of it as you did.

The most I ever did was a local contest, had to eat a five-foot long meatball sandwich with something like 15 meatballs. Got about halfway through it. Still pretty puny compared to that sandwich.

Slacker, I have eaten a quad Whopper on more than one occasion...I probably shouldn't be proud of that though I am currently trying to cut back on the amount of food I eat.

Adcatalano, you and I could certainly hang out

Bill

Nothing crazy or weird for me as I grew up with it back in Holland, but RAW HERRING and onions. Very oily fish and definitely an acquired taste.

I know a guy who manages a Burger King. He made me this last week:

Bacon double cheeseburger with chicken patties instead of buns

Does Goat meat count? I have eaten that, and it was great.

I had a cow brain taco in Mexico. Must admit, I felt smarter. Or perhaps that was just the tequila talking.

Adcatalano, what place in Naperville was that?

As far as "weirdest" food I've ever had, that would have to be squirrel.

It was like a sports bar and grill type place across from my friend apartment. They have closed since I tried it though.
