I doubt that is a real release date.

Well considering there's like 2 Diamond Editions a year (one at the start, one at the end), it actually makes sense that they would release some less popular films in between as they always do.

More Disney on Blu-ray?... Sold! Color me surprised that Disney isn't making this a 2-Movie Collection with "The Emperor's New Groove 2: Kronk's New Groove". Maybe it will be and the product page will be updated because I'd find it odd that "Kronk's New Groove" would justify its own Blu-ray release.

I really, really hope this retains the Collector's Edition extras. But I suppose not. As soon as the specs are released and it doesn't contain the extras, I'm putting out my bid on an old Collectors Edition.

It probably will, since they've been on the DVD in the past

I am glad this is coming out and I LOVE the double packs even tho everyone else hates them (most of the time I like the 2nd movies better then the original) BUT this one bothers me because of the letting on the movies

I don't mind the sequel, but the Hunchback cover was the way to go on 2 movies collection
I'd agree. I hope that cover for this one isn't official cos it's definitely fugly.

I've missed out on purchasing the last dvd release so I'll be purchasing this on blu, Kuzco was a great character, lil annoyin at 1st but by the middle of the film you start to care bout him. Yzma, she's like a cousin to Ursula only without the squid legs lol

I've never seen this. How does it compare with the later Disney animated films? Is it more Home on the Range (ugh) or Hercules (yay!)?

ENG is an excellent, hilarious film. Entirely engaging and rewatchable. It has a slight edgy, sardonic sense to it that plays out like a good Pixar film, but has that breezy, polished feel of classic 90s era Disney. It's a good mix of both.

This is exciting news!

Personally, I like the 2-movie packs. It doesn't bother me if two movies come together; not like I was gonna buy THoND or Pocahontas 2 regardless - but hey, extra movie. And if the cover sucks or there isn't disc art, eh - personally it doesn't bother me; I'm getting it for the movie.

Two movie collections we've gotten so far: Fantasia, Tron, The Rescuers, Mulan, Brother Bear, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Fox and the Hound, and now The Emperor's New Groove, Lilo & Stitch, and Atlantis: The Lost Empire.

Only waiting for the 6 Walt Disney shorts to see where they go.
I don't mind the 2 packs either. Would I have bought the second movie? Nope. The only DTV sequel I liked was 'Return of Jafar' and I probably wouldn't like that now. I have a feeling that will get bundled with 'King of Thieves'. But anyways, I just consider the second movie a bonus feature.

And cover art doesn't deter me from buying a movie. I buy it for the movie too. But TENG cover is terrible. No effort at all.

Disney haven't region locked any of their films for several years now.
