TMNT: Out of The Shadows

Activision's first new game since acquiring the TMNT license. The game is titled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of The Shadows and will be a downloadable-only game released this summer. The game will be developed by Red Fly Studios (Thor: God Of Thunder) and released on Xbox Live Arcade, Playstation Network and Steam this Summer.

There were rumors that Rock Steady was going to do a TMNT game like Batman: Arkham, which got a lot of people excited.

Our source dismissed the rumour, posted on the Paul Gale Network, as completely false.

Rocksteady has made no official statement.

The details of the rumour, which ignited hopeful fans worldwide, had the title as Manhattan Crisis. All the turtles were said to be playable with access to each’s unique weapons, and there was talk of playable flashbacks starring Master Splinter and his former owner Hamato Yoshi before he was murdered.

Bebop, Dr. Baxter Stockman, Krang, Rocksteady, and Shredder were named as bosses, and the Turtle Van and Blimp were mentioned along with other gadgets. The site claimed a planned Wii U version of the game would include touch screen controls for various actions, in addition to PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.

TMNT: Manhattan Crisis was described as a bit “darker” than the cartoon series or previous titles based on the license, and while no mention was made of multiplayer, it was supposedly being built using Unreal 3 – as with Arkham City.

Before posting the thread I did search and the rumored game showed up but I thought it was different game.

yeah that Paul Gale Network dude is usually full of shit on everything he posts. It's either made up or it's stuff that's already leaked and he posts it like "this is what I'm hearing".
