Dedicated Anime subforum?

Greetings Blu-ray.com moderators, I was wondering if it's possible to make the official anime on Blu-ray thread a sticky thread?

Not sure what the conditions are but the thread has been one of the daily threads on the site since June.

I personally dont have any say in it and cant help in that area, I thought pro-b was asking because he was gonna help and I was pointing him in the right direction

Done! If the interest is big enough, we might even consider adding a sub forum for Anime

It's almost as bad as putting "Spanish" films or "Sci-fi horror" films into one single thread.

For someone interested in just a few anime blu-ray, it's quite a pain to read through a lot of non-related posts to know about the movie you are interested in.

I think there's no stopping anyone from creating threads on particular animes. I've made some myself, but I think none got any reply.

Also, there's a "Search this Thread" button that's very useful.

I think a step in the right direction would be one thread for movies and then a few for the different kind of shows like shounen and so forth.

If they expand that much than a whole new section would be needed. Keeping it all in one thread keeps the clutter in check and generally makes it easier to find what you want.

I think it's easier with one thread since there isn't a whole lot of anime released on Blu-ray in America yet.

PQ and AQ wise, what is the best Anime film/series out on BR right now?

I am looking to start picking up Anime titles but I'd like some suggestions.

1st off great site guys! I have used it for years 1st to catalog my collection. Then I got sucked into sharing HT pics and pics of my collection(s).

THEN i started to use it for resources, screen shots, reviews and technical information... all that fun stuff.

HOWEVER as of lately i can't seem to find any site reviews on any anime id like blindly buy.

Slightly off topic Ken, but does anyone review the Best of Travel/Europe series?

I'm curious how the reviewers work here. Do studios send advanced copies, does someone specialize in a genre and review those that fall in it, or does every reviewer sit in a room and whoever picks the short straw has to watch that movie?

Thanks for coming in. I can only speak for myself personally but I would love a dedicated anime forum. Sometimes things get lost in the shuffle in this thread and when a thread is made in the main forum other members come in a ridicule us. Not to mention we sometimes talk about other countries releases so a catch all for anime talk would be great. Thanks for listening iceman.

That would be great, as maybe some subforums could include:
Anime by region, US, UK, etc, and especially Japan
Then maybe packaging: slips, steels, digis, etc
Possibly retailers: Amazon(all regions), NISA, Play-Asia, Rightstuff etc.
