Default Question about Dolby trueHD

Is Dolby trueHD only 7.1? Or is there a 5.1 version of Dolby trueHD available.

What is the difference between Dolby surround MLP and Dolby trueHD?

Dolby TruHD can go up to 7.1, but I suspect most discs will only use 5.1.

I wish more discs were encoded in 7.1 as more and more systems are designed and built with that in mind I think they should be releasing discs that cater to 7.1

To be honest, most theatrical films are still mixed in 5.1. The extra two surrounds on 7.1 are rarely used, and most 7.1 mixes are created solely for DVD.

Well I think most mixes are in 7.1 because they are using the side speakers in a theater. I think the biggest problem is space and compatability.
