dont know how much of a hot deal this is but HMV canada (from what i know) is having a 2 for 50$ deal on selected titles. they have about a dozen different titles including: the omen, harts war, underworld, saw 1,2,3 and more that i cant remember sorry

What is most significant is that this isn't a sale, or limitted time offer. This is Blu-ray entering the conventional pricing structure of HMV.
Release pricing transitioning to N for $XX pricing. IIRC, 2 for $50 was the first time it occured on DVD too, in 1998. It's a hopeful sign that Blu-ray is starting to transition into the mainstream a bit. Gary |
