This was just released last month and I made a major impulse purchase at YesAsia and it just showed up today in the mail. Here is the link to the listing...

I am a huge fan of this film, more for the animation than the story but that is just fine as well. I first saw this years ago on a website that streamed this sort of thing, but I have never bought an official release until now.

I am by no means an expert on the audio/video quality of releases so I do not claim to be at all. I will say as I sit here watching it on my 50'' Panasonic 3D HDTV as I type this that the image is very crisp, detailed, and just looks amazing to me. To say that it looks better than I have ever seen it goes without saying. This type of animation is so beautiful to me and I wish there was more just like this out there.

I have a very basic 5.1 surround sound system that I bought a month or two back and the mix, to me, is also incredible. It really pulls me in and sounds like things are truly blowing up and flying by all around me with a very clear center channel. All in all, it's one of my favorite discs in this respect so far, but that could just be because I am so happy with the release.

I feel like I have never truly watched this before considering how great it looks and sounds. Again, I'm no expert on the technical terms and all of that. I just know that I'm enjoying it a great deal here.

This release features the extended cut 94 minute version and not the standard 86 minute version that most seem to have watched with the original Korean language track with Korean or English subtitles. There are a number of extras featured, such as a commentary track, almost hour long making of, and various other things as well. Unfortunately, like most if not all Korean releases, none of the extras have English subtitles.

If you are a fan of this one, I highly recommend this release. I couldn't be happier with the purchase.

Oh, and I also love the badass black BD case it comes in, sorta like the one for the Night of the Living Dead that we all loved so much. Well, NotLD was lighter, almost gray, this one is flat out black.

Sounds great. I also ordered this and it should be coming in the mail on Monday.
I haven't seen it before, so I'm looking forward to experiencing it for the first time on Blu-ray. Nice to hear that it has good sound. I have a 7.2 setup, so I'll be sure to crank it up!

I ordered it from KimichiDVD a couple weeks ago, along with a couple other titles. Should arrive on Monday. Ive seen it once before and definitely enjoyed it.

Cool I really love this movie. Such a underrated animation. Also haven't seen the extended version so that makes it even more interesting. Want to buy it but on yesasia it is just under the free shipping option for europe so it gets very expensive

Looks like you accidentally added the DVD into the BD database, i have corrected that and added the DVD set for you, let me know if any information needs adjusting or you can submit any changes yourself.
