Like most I hate the eco cases now favoured by many US studios. It's one of the reasons I now purchase less US discs. I'm so glad that the blu-ray cases here in the UK are still as robust as ever.
Just out of curiosity I was wondering if most US studios now use them and, more importantly, if there are any that don't? |

Paramount has released titles in eco cases as well. Sony uses the Vortex cases and the 1-2 disc cases are only manufactured as, non-holey, eco cases so they're using them too. |

yes you can get "real" cases from discmakers, BUT the viva elites have gotten thinner and thinner. they are really bad now.
not as bad as wagon-wheel eco cases, but still it's sad to see how thin and flimsy the "real" non-eco elites have become over the past 2 years. |

maybe I am just lucky but I haven't had any issues with the eco cases. I have had dvd cases what have cracked and broken but those are usually Walmart bin movies so it is understandable.
