Default Evil.

It's not an accurate poll and can be weighted by just those who see the damn thing. But it can sure as hell sway some minds.

wow that article is completely wrong imo. thats crazy. hd dvd has the momentum? when did that happen. they list some big titles from the hd dvd side, but fail to mention the bigger movies being released on blu at the same time

Didn't really like reading that. It was so one sided it wasn't even funny. Except the part where they named there exclusive titles and named Time Warner as one of them. WOW!!! SCARY!!!

voted! (blu that is duh)

Now I once read that there were more google searches for HDDVD out there.....of course thats probably because bluray owners are actually watching movies and playing games and HDDVD are bargain hunting on the net...but....perhaps that explains this phenomenon

well its simple. if you have no idea what you want when it comes to hd movies. the first thing youre gonna type into google is hd dvd. its the natural thing to search for. its no coincidence they named it because of this! lol

I bet the CNBC web developers are the same guys who create that high tech Javascript HDi crap in their movies, and so for this poll have something like this built in...

Quote:
if(this.form.chkbox.text == 'bluray'){
int bdcnt = bdcnt +1;
int hddvdcnt = hddvdcnt + 4;
}
else
inthddvdcnt = hddvdcnt + 2;

I can't believe that people can get away with writing such crap about the "format war"

Now I want Blu-ray to win more than ever, and when it does, I will rub it in to the faces of the HD DUD owners.

No Mercy!

This is posted somewhere because it continues to rise for HD-DVD. Funny really.

Cool HD-DVD vs Blu-ray

Ok I voted for Blu-ray.

Even though some point I do agree with that Blu-ray needs to answer with a machine that is at about the same cost or else this christmas season is going to be lost.

The War is on boys and girls and not having a machine at Wal-Mart and Best Buy that is comprable in pricing is going to hurt.

you know I am willing to bet even if they sell more hd dvd players, those people will still only buy regular dvds to play in them, because they don't know the difference. and that article's comment of 60% of ps3 users don't know they have a bluray player, well isn't that a positive? sony only needs to launch a pr campaign, the users dont have to buy any new equipment, and with bluray already leading 2 to 1 in sales, who knows maybe they can boost sales by 60%

I just saw a new commercial for Cars and I noticed that they said for use on Blu-ray and your Playstation 3.

Thought this was kinda silly but maybe there is some truth to the fact that some PS3 owners don't realize the power of blu that they bought their 7 year old kid. Some dumb people out there that have no clue.

If you're going to email him, just make sure you are polite and factual.

If you start cursing and being rude, he'll just win.

Make polite, intelligent and factual emails.
