Default Lorde -- anyone heard her stuff yet?

Lorde is a 16-year-old New Zealander singer/songwriter whose debut single "Royals" entered the New Zealand charts at #1. Her debut EP, The Love Club, entered the NZ charts at #2.

Her voice, quite frankly, blew me away and I couldn't believe she was only 16! She writes her own stuff, and I quite like it.

Here's a YouTube link where you can listen to (and watch) her new single "Tennis Court", the US version of her single "Royals", and her entire EP The Love Club.

It's been a while since a new singer/band has me fired up and falling all over myself to share their stuff with friends. Personally, I love the two new songs and the stuff on her EP is starting to grow on me. She is an amazing talent and I think she has the stuff to go far. And, watching her interviews, I think she has the intelligence to stay away from stuff that'll derail her career. I hope, anyway.

Whatchall think?
