Default Sony unveils 3D head-mounted display for surgeons in Japan

Still 720P OLEDs, but Love the center over-the-head stabilizer bar making this a consumer comfort friendly alternative!
Hoping this model gets a U.S. consumer release. Sleek looking square shaped side speakers also add a look of quality to this discrete-3D capable head-mounted display.

The Oculus Rift has a sweet "4D" theater experience. It creates a virtual theater that you can move around in, choose a seat, and even see the projector light stream. Whatever movie you choose to play shows up on the theater screen. It creates a great sense of immersion because you can look around the theater while you are watching a film.

Occulus guys don't talk about 3D movies much and they seem to be more about gaming. Are you saying that they will incorporate 3D movie viewing as well? If so I will be 1st in line to get this

Man..this does look great as well. Never bought the previous versions that Sony released (came REAL close though). If I see that this version will be getting a U.S. consumer release...I'm going to get it ASAP!!
