My blu-ray collection fell on me - Blu-ray Forum

I was going through my collection when, without warning, the cabinet holding hundreds of Blu-rays decides to fall on me, as well as some of my Lego collection and a bunch of other junk.

Used to happen to my DVDs that are in my closet i remember they were all over and i used a broom to pile them up. Haha. It'd sometimes hurt like a b*tch.

I was complaining about a2x4 falling and hitting me in the head. It was like a scene in a cartoon. My friend and I laughed for a while afterwards. I t did not really hurt. More of the shock of something just randomly falling etc.

At least you were there to help break their fall. Seriously though, 300+ blus crashing down on you. Your lucky to be posting this and not in the ER. I hope you're OK!1

I think the discs are all fine. Most of the blu's stayed in the drawers which they were in. A bunch of them fell on the floor, but only a few got noticeable damage/dints on the case. Willy Wonka and Get Smart, I think. SO yeah, it's not like all the blu's rained down on me like my thread title suggests :P, it was the chest of drawers that fell on me.

Just get a binder that holds discs, and get all that room back, plus your safety.

Video stores are dead, no point in imitating a corpse.

Reminds me of that time my niece was browsing my library for something to watch and tried to climb on the shelves and all the movies fell on her.

Reminds me of the time that a pipe burst over my video game collection. Almost all of the cover art inserts got wet and warped!

At least you're not dealing with water damage. That is the worst!
