Yes, I'm pretty happy with my BFI Tatis but would be tempted to double dip if there was some new and interesting stuff in this release.

If the other four titles are using the same prints and extras as the BFI releases, then I hope those two titles are released separately, as £41 (at the moment) is a lot to spend on just two titles |

The new resto for Parade, which you like, was just screened at Lumiere in Lyon as well. Pro-B |

I would expect the UK release to pretty much match Studio Canal's upcoming French set

I'd never watched Jour de Fête all the way through before, I always struggled with the colour version on the BFI disc. I'm glad to say I watched the 1949 b&w version from StudioCanal last night, and loved it. Looks great, and it's a typical Tati film, good-natured and full of inventive sight/sound gags.

Im looking into Playtime, and dvdbeaver says the BFI release has a "feature commentary by Philip Kemp", and the Criterion has "selected scene commentary by Philip Kemp". Yet Dvdbeaver's review states that the BFI "includes the same Philip Kemp commentary as found on the Criterion".
Can anyone tell me if any of the releases contain a full length commentary or just selected scenes? And if so, is it is included on the StudioCanal boxset? Thanks |

Thanks very much! I wonder why they didn't use the whole track. Got to decide whether the BFI is worth buying now. I suppose it would have a booklet which I do enjoy.

Is anyone able to post some images of the physical boxset? I have seen photos of the French version which looks great but Im guessing the UK is not the same.
