what to do about subwoofer moving around =| - Blu-ray Forum

ok, i just got the klisch 12"
i only leave the volume on the sub at 1/4 and it's keep moving around. It got on my nerve last night. My basement is wood, what should i do? i already tried puting thoese rubber knob on the base but no help. While it is a outstanding sub (loud as hell) but it got annoying because after a while i would have to push it back to its place lol
any advice?

only advice i could give you is put something under it... try one of those yoga mats the women use for their crouching frog or wtv. that should be padded enough to not make it slide around without it being a permanent thing.

Yeah, you definitely need some sort of cushioned mat with a rubber bottom. That should stop the subwoofer from fidgeting around.

LOL!!! I wouldn't be complaining! That's exactly the kind of subwoofer I want! LMAO. The only thing that I can think of is securing to the floor with some sort of homemade cradle. If the floor is wood, could you fashion some sort of nesting unit that you could screw into the floor?

that would be bad with the vibrations it would rattle against the floor and the "cradle"

Theres some shit out there that can help you out. For example, They have that rubbery shit that people put in their shelves of their RV that keep their dishes from sliding while they are driving. It comes in a roll that you can cut. Its that same sort of material that old people have on the floor of their shower so they dont fall over on the slick bottom... That shit works well

rubber feet for furniture may work with some doublesided tape to hold them on. or take a clue from the howard stern movie and have someone sit on it.
