1/2 the threads? what are you talking about? This thread IS about blu domination, on a blu site? go figure. But the rest are about Blu-Ray not HD DVD look before you speak, have some class.

I have believe me. blu ray doing fine is great, but the minute you say a sneering word at the competition you drop in class to a fanboy. Saying that Blu ray is doing amazing is perfectly acceptable, it's when you start saying HD DUD etc.. that you lose credibility real fast.

If we were going on hd dvd sites spreading fud, thats one thing, however Blu ray fans supporting Blu ray on a Blu ray site, where else would be more appropreate? Many/ most threads are about blu, and all that concerns blu, including its rival HD DVD. Knowlage is key, without comparing how would we all know blu is on top?

Take it for what it is, there are many excited people here who might not express themselves as you would like, but the fact of the matter is, this is a blu ray site and we are competing against HD DVD-DUD. If the thread in not to your liking, move on, but dont judge others by there comentment in their format of choice. This is a Blu Ray site, not a neutral format site.

Or when you are Tier 1 on the old HDDVD Zealot thread, and you come in here posting and already ruffling feathers.

Some of us haven't forgotten your past at AVS. I hope you've turned over a new leaf and that all of the BD-bashing is behind you.

All I will say is that less bashing won't hurt anyone, but likewise no bashing is impossible.
I for one have stopped using HD DUD cause the HD DVD camp will just use it against us when they read this forum, which I am sure they do.
I think that those who want to support HD DVD can go ahead, i can't stop them, but i will try to talk them out of it. Why? Cause I feel buying HD DVD is a mistake, and will be a waste of money. Like buying Beta Max, your money is better spent elsewhere. Blu-ray has the support, it has the titles, the sales, the manufacturers, content, the capacity for more....
Blu-ray has the future, and I can not see as good a future with HD DVD when it has already reached its maximum potential.

*chuckle. I hope you really looked at my post history. Except a few posts about a year and a 1/2 ago, I never once bashed blu ray. I only responded against people who were making ridiculous claims. I stated that I had an issue with the extra copy protection of blu ray and I made no bones about that. I'm a fair use advocate. If that bothers you then so be it. Now that AACS is pretty much circumvented and BD+ is showing the chinks in it's armor I have no bones about blu ray. As of today my blu ray collection beat my HD DVD collection. Not because I like one more than another but because I could get them for cheaper. I enjoy blu ray a lot, I enjoy HD DVD a lot, end of story for me. Another issue I had was price for the BD players, not that we're seeing prices drop to less that $400 ($300 is my limit) and I got a Phillips BD player for $225 from a forum member I'm in the Blu game. If you look at my lengthy post history I said MANY times that I would buy a BD player if they came within my price limits. And please don't bring up that laughable tier thread. That was an embarrasment to everyone involved. And it doesn't help that you were known as one of the largest Blu Ray "fans" so to speak on AVS and other forums. So please don't try to bring up peoples format preferences as weapons against them.

and I "came in here" not to ruffle feathers but mainly to gain info about blu ray deals and use the trade forum (I'm a skinflint, I buy 90% of my discs from bogo sales and forum members ). I'm here to enjoy blu ray and nothing more.
