Saw it yesterday and quite liked it!!
It's a very long movie!! Just over 3 hours.
Hill and DiCaprio are great together!!
Never really cared much for Jonah Hill before, but he's great in this.
They all were!
Liked this movie and will get it, but only when it's reduced near end of year or something like that.

Hasn't this film come out in 2014, or are you doing the time-warp again?

Im seeing this later and can't wait, I've watched a Scorsese film each night for the past week because I'm so psyched for this, I've heard it's his best film sinCe Casino, but it's going to have to be more than incredible if it beats The Departed for me.

It came out Christmas day in the US, and had done a few festivals before that so is technically 2013...

It hasn't been cut in the UK? We're fine with sex, drugs and language in the adult categories.

It's only animal cruelty, instructions on how to commit criminal activity and films that could cause harm to the general public. 99% of films (would) get through uncut.

With hints of Goodfellas and an x-rated version of Dumb And Dumber thrown in for good measure.

I'm sticking with the steelbook purely so I don't have to see that ridiculous purple banner once I remove the packaging. I haven't had to buy any blu ray with the banner on yet, and I'm hoping people come to their senses and remove it before it's on something I actually want. Does no one seem to realise that Blue and Purple should not go together? It's a hideous combination and really throws off the rest of the artwork!

I prefer the look of the HMV case over the steelbook. It would have been near perfect if the amray case was the standard cover though, not a fan of the yellow $ flag.

OK - Just received the UK steel of this one. What's the word on the status of cuts with this one - since a poster in this thread has mentioned that there is? I could always pick up the US disc cheaply and swap them out, if that is the case. But if the poster's memory is wrong, I obviously don't want to bother, and don't want to be left thinking I have a 'cut' version of the film.

I think the poster was imagining things (or maybe it was included in a trailer but cut out for the final film). Nobody else found anything, and this release was used in multiple countries, so you'd have thought they would have.

Also, I checked the official screenplay as given out by Paramount for Oscar voters, there's no such scene included. So unless it was improved and added last minute, I doubt it was ever there at all...
