USA 2015 vs 2016

With Batman vs. Superman/Man of Steel 2 being pushed back to 2016 is 2015 still the most anticipated year for movies? Here is a list of major movies i believe are listed to come out those years.

2015:
  • Star Wars: Episode VII
  • The Avengers: Age of Ultron
  • Terminator: Genesis
  • Jurassic World
  • Fantastic Four
  • Ant-Man
  • Mission: Impossible V
  • The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2
  • Bond 24
  • Fast and the Furious 7
  • Chappie (Neill Blomkamp)
More big name movies:
[Show spoiler]
  • The Bourne Identity 5
  • Ted 2
  • Mad Max: Fury Road
  • Assassin's Creed
  • Friday the 13th (reboot)
  • Insidious Chapter 3
  • Tomorrowland (Brad Bird/Disney)
  • Despicable Me Minions
  • Kung Fu Panda 3
  • The Good Dinosaur (Pixar)
  • Inside Out (Pixar)

2016:
  • Batman vs. Superman
  • X-Men: Apocalypse
  • Avatar 2
  • The Amazing Spider-Man 3
  • Planet of the Apes 3
  • Independence Day 2
  • WarCraft
  • Untitled Star Wars Spin-off Movie (Boba Fett?)
  • Untitled Marvel Project (Doctor Strange?)
  • Untitled Marvel Project (Black Panther?)
More big name movies:
[Show spoiler]
  • Star Trek 3 (aiming for 2016)
  • The Mummy (reboot)
  • Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
  • Alice in Wonderland 2
  • Finding Dory
  • Ice Age 5
  • How to Train Your Dragon 3
  • Untitled Pixar Project (about Dia de los Muertos)
  • Untitled Disney Animation Project

Let me know if i missed any major ones and i will add them or if i put a movie under the wrong year, thanks.

2016 wins for me and right now it's not even close but that could still change, both years are still a ways off.

Before Supes Bats moved it was 2015, now I say it's a draw for me. Really pumped for Star Wars VII. Two awesome years in a row.

2016, because it'll be the year this masterpiece releases.

[Show spoiler]

But in all seriousness, as much as I'm more than hyped about Batman vs. Superman and X-Men: Apocalypse, I'd have to give it to 2015.

Should i re-arrange the list and put them in order of release dates (Jan-Dec) or at least add the scheduled release dates for the movies or do you think it is fine as is. It looks a little messy right now so i think i might change it a little.

The Avengers and Bond trump all. 2015 is the clear winner.

2016 I'm most excited for are: 1. Batman vs. superman, 2. Xmen: apocalypse, 3. The amazing spider man 3, 4. Star Trek 3 & 5. Independence Day 2.

So far 2015 and 2016 looks to be great years for movies I can't wait.

Oh i forgot about Tarantino's next movie "The Hateful Eight", that will probably come out next year since they say they want to start shooting this summer. Tarantino is one of my two favorite directors so that helps 2015. Nolan is my other favorite tho and i would think he would have another movie in 2016 so it will probably be a wash.

For me it boils down to

Hunger Games Pt 2, Star Wars VII, Age of Ultron

vs

Batman & Superman, Avatar 2, X-Men Apocalypse

Hunger games and Xmen apocalypse may or may not be good. So they kind of cancel eachother out. I kind of know what to expect with Age of Ultron and Batman vs Superman. So between the two I choose Batman & Superman. Ultron will no doubt be fun, but we've already had an Avengers film which hurts the hype.

Then its Star Wars VII vs Avatar 2. Avatar 2 wins here easily. I'll take a James Cameron sequel over JJ Abrams anyday.

So 2016 wins for me.

lol, but it is hard to be anticipating something that already happened. 2017 could be really good too, i think every year from here on out will be really good, as long as you like super hero or big block buster movies in general. 2017 Star Wars: Episode VIII, Avatar 3, possibly Justice League if they shoot it back to back with Batman vs. Superman, & possibly Avengers 3. If it has all 4 that would be epic, i'm not that big of a fan of Avatar tho, but i'm just sayin'.

I'm so sick of hearing about 2015/2016. We'll get there when we get there. 2014 has plenty of great films to be excited about.

Then don't participate in this thread. People make silly comments sometimes about threads that they don't have to FOLLOW. Geez.
