Default Will my sound system tear down my mama's house?

It's a very legit system and it's only used when I am using the projector. It goes to 100 but at I have at 60, the highest, and as I am watching movies everything in the living room is bouncing and makes me paranoid the house is going to crumble down. Is this a reasonable concern to have?

Depends on what you're smoking.

No matter how much creaking and groaning I may hear of the window mullions and steel framing of my apartment, if my building was built to FBC hurricane code, a couple of 18-20 Hz sound waves will have no effect on it's structural integrity.

If you have a few loose ornaments on shiny surfaces they may fall over. The worst I've seen in my home is a mirror shaking due to vibrations but generally speaking:

doesn't happen very often ...

This thread could be hilarious if we steer it in the right direction.

Just don't turn it all the way up to 11 ...

On a more serious note, I'd say the worst damage you could do is to cause cracking of the mud and/or tape in the drywall seams.

When I first saw the name of this thread on the home page, I literally laughed out loud a bit, but then when I clicked on it and saw this:
