Great, I really enjoyed this show, it looked good, but the last two or three seasons were a bit gungy looking. I thought some of the best stories were in the first season, but as it was in non-anamorphic widescreen I never bought the DVD's. I don't want the whole lot, but may buy some seasons when they're available separately.

Damn, I've only just watched all 8 seasons as well. Still that means I can wait until the price drops quite a lot and then pick it up later on. Overall this is good news though!

What a cool, unexpected announcement. I've always wanted to see the show and seeing it in HD would be awesome. Should be a great set! I hope more shows become announced like this. (I'm still waiting on a Complete Alias set).

I've not had the pleasure of seeing the 1986 horror film, but I can understand the confusion. However, I also do think that Complete Collection is enough to avoid confusion.

Hoping to get this version. According to our site, this has an RRP of £169.99, even though it is not currently for sale on Amazon yet. If it's list price on Amazon, that would be approximately £145 shipped to the USA, but hopefully, there will be a nice little discount.

Plus, I love the fact that this is an '18' set, because of one issue in one episode of one season of the series (Season 5, Episode 23: "Under My Skin").

This Spanish set is currently the cheapest option: €121,09 is over €40 less than the cheapest the German season sets have ever been (some have gone up in price), and means about £100 plus shipping. To the States, it's €100,08 + shipping, which is over €60 less than the current price of the individual German sets, and currently a little less than £85.

So Universal UK and Amazon will have to agree on some aggressive pricing to make the UK set an attractive option.

Without VAT, the UK set is £104.75 shipped to the States, but the Spanish set is still €109,08 shipped to the States, which is a savings of about £14 or US $22.

I have also deleted the run times from the listings, because there is incongruity between the different Amazon listings.

We can infer from the language specs that the discs in this set should be incidental to those in the German individual releases, as well as the upcoming Japanese and Spanish box sets, so expect them to be 1080p and Region A and B compatible, at least. It wouldn't make sense for the UK branch to do its own encoding when Universal has so many releases coming at the same time.
