Blu-ray Samurai

Does anyone think that Peter Jackson's King Kong is just about the best looking DVD ever made? The transfer is just absolutely incredible on my 32" LCD, on my 55" LED and on my old 21" Flatron CRT. The image is so razor sharp and crisp with stunning detail, contrast and colours as well as perfect black levels on all 3 of my displays. I was particularly impressed with how good it looked on the CRT, really nice.
What do you guys think? |

No mate I meant DVD, that's why I posted this thread here in the 'DVD movies' section. I haven't seen the Blu-Ray but given the source material I bet it would look a hell of a lot more spectacular in 1080p for obvious reasons. Still this thread is about how brilliant the DVD is for DVD. It could almost pass for 720p or 1080i HD itself, that's how well mastered the DVD is IMO.
