I use my PS3 for both. The Games are awesome and I really love the Blu-Ray. But the Blu-Ray was the reason why I bought a PS3 anyway.

Mostly movies... until I can get my hands on 'Rock Band', 'Uncharted', 'Unreal Tournament', 'Final Fantasy XIII', 'Metal Gear Solid 4', and the list goes on.

For now...It's easier to never have gamed. Once you've gamed, your avoidance is only dormant and temporary until you game again. If you've never gamed before in whole life, then that's another story, but you've gamed before, it's with you forever, lying dormant. But always there.

You can view it as a long break time. But it will be waiting for you in the end when you come back from the break.

i use every feature available on my ps3 and psp

movies
games
music(mostly for streaming music from my pc to my ps3 to my psp when i'm out on the deck)
photos
internet
remote play
location free player

even video chat once

it bugs me that most people think of the ps3 and psp as video game consoles, when they're really media centers

I use it for both. I bought the PS3 over the Xbox because I wanted to watch Blu ray as well. so far, I have 2 games and 12 movies (I missed out on the free movie deal).

Mainly for the BD's. Just waiting for some great games. Not many exclusives for the PS3 out yet. Sony servers are also garbage and hinder the online feature.

The only thing in that list I don't use it for is File Storage, to an extent I do but not a lot I suppose. I store all my music on my PS3. I voted all of the above.

I use it mainly for gaming, folding@home and surfing the web. I've also used it as a Blu player a couple of times.
I used to have a gaming PC in my room, but the PS3 took its place. The PS3 is capable of better graphics, and can fold a lot more in less time. I don't really use the PS3 as a Blu player a whole lot cause I have a laptop with a BD drive, and also a stand alone BD player in the family room.

I would say mine is used about 90% for movies and 10% for gaming. I played God of War 1 and 2 on it, and I bought Guitar Hero III a couple of weeks ago. Mine is hooked up to a pj in my theater room currently and I don't much like gaming on it. Once a good profile 1.1 or 2.0 stand-alone is available, I will be connecting it back to the plasma in my living room and it will see more gaming use. Or I may just get another PS3, but I'm leaning towards a stand-alone for the theater set-up.
