Default 2.0 Audio and volume setting on BD

When I say 2.0 audio I mean stereo/mono/Dolby Surround etc. With films or old shows with these types of audio tracks, how much lower or higher do you set your volume to when using your sound system? For example all the 5.1/6.1/7.1 Dolby Digital/DTS/TruHD/DTS-HD etc stuff I have my receiver set to about 52, but for 2.0 content I find that the 52 volume control is too high/loud, so I put it down to 46 or 47.

I find there's no universal standard for audio levels. Regardless of the number of channels, some tracks are too loud, others too quiet. Adjust as needed.

Yes, adjust as needed. I also have the following personal settings for my Onkyo and it has done me well since 2008:

Lossless 5.1, 6.1, & 7.1 --> Straight decode
Lossless 2.0 --> Dolby Pro Logic IIz
Lossless/Lossy 1.0 --> Full Mono
Lossy 2.0 --> All Channel Stereo
Lossy 5.1/6.1 --> Dolby Pro Logic IIz
