I'm okay with the front (it'd be my second choice) but I HATE that back! Ugh...Arrow....why that one? Just use the Italian theatrical poster (same used on the Anchor Bay DVDs...).

So I was looking at the steelbook cover and was thinking "Hey, that reminds me of the movie poster of this film I saw when I was a kid called Creepers", which prompted me to Google it and sure enough....you learn something new every day! I also learned (or forgot actually) that a really young Jennifer Connelly starred in it!

Anyway....sweet steelbook.

I got mine today and there are postives and negatives:

The Good:
- transfer looks really good - solid colors and blacks, though you'll probably have the usual suspects complain about DNR or not enough film grain.
- while there is no surround, the 2.0 is clear.
- the disc is REGION ALL (A,B and C) and confirmed to play on my US PS3.

The Bad:
- both subtitle options (English subs and English subs for italian scenes) play throughout the entire movie. The funny thing is.. if you just select the English audio and turn the subtitles off, the English subtitles will come on during the scenes with foreign language only (weird).
- there are only 3 extras: a making of, an interview with Simonetti and a live Q&A with Sergio Stivalette.
- also, there is no "(from Zavvi.com) SD DVD presentation of the Italian cut of the film". Just the blu-ray (which is fine with me).

I'm a little disappointed in the lack of more extras (like a trailer and commentary), but it is still a decent release. It will be interesting to see how the Synapse release stack up.
