Vudu Credits requiring a Credit Card now?!

Has anyone else been getting the issue, try to add a vudu credit and the Vudu prompts you to add a credit card before you can add any credits, this just happened with in the last couple of hours.

Others same problem?

Nope this is brand new, I tried adding a Vudu Credit to myy exsisting account with no CC and it refused until I add a CC I tried making a secondary and adding and it did the same thing

what promotional credit did you try applying to the account?

i know the kleenex, cereal, and certain game card require a cc

dvd credits normally do not

also, if you go past the limit since it reads -- it requires credit card info ....

probably to stop the account abuse of ppl making several accounts to add credits

it would be easy to track if someone inputs the same credit card for like 8 or 9 accounts or if using different cards with the same name

Just tried with one of the $5 codes from a tv on dvd set... same thing.... im not giving vudu a real credit card, apparently I have to go buy a prepaid now lol... great.

I finally found a single one of the kleenex codes at walmart right before it expired and it did not require a credit card.

Kleenex did not require a CC but did request an address for whatever reason, but only on the first time you used one. you can use 10 but only requested an address on the first one.
I was entering a Video Game pre-order promo VDLT and I tried a Mariokart code as well
