Default The Great Outdoors & Summer Rental

Every year, I hope these two films will be out on Blu-ray by summertime. They're great "summer movies."

I don't suppose anyone has heard anything about releases for these two? What do you think the chances are they'll be released sometime soon?

Their classic John Candy/80's movies imo, but I bet the studio's see them as low sellers. I like them!

Both of these are great summer films, and are nice to watch at this time of year. IMHO Summer Rental is the superior film, and has some extremely funny scenes:

[Show spoiler]I especially liked when Candy & his family end up at the sub-par rental house (because of the mix-up), and the house ends up being on the path that folks take to walk to the beach - i.e., when Candy's family are having breakfast, everyone nosily looks in their window And then, when Candy asks some slovenly guy where the beach is, the guy burps & points

Love both of these films, especially Great Outdoors! I too look forward to every summer hoping they'll be released, and then nothing. It's a crime these John Candy classics haven't hit Blu-ray yet. I know catalog comedies don't sell as well, but when you see some of the other crap companies dig up and release on Blu it just leaves you baffled.
