Warner Bros The Exorcist: The Complete Anthology (1973-2005)

The Exorcist: The Complete Anthology Blu-ray

Quote:
Here it is.The scream of the crop. The scariest and most fascinating collection of movies in modern horror. At the center of these ultimate clashes between darkness and light are intrepid souls who dare to look evil in the eye and unsheathe the weapons of faith. The struggle begins with the trend-setting THE EXORCIST (presented it its original theatrical version and EXTENDED DIRECTOR’S CUT). EXORCIST II: THE HERETIC and THE EXORCIST III bring added perspectives, blood-curdling visuals and shocks to the harrowing tale. And the two prequel stories (by two different directors) of DOMINION/THE BEGINNING enrich the original by revealing the amazing genesis of the battle between Father Merrin and humanity’s most insidious foe.

Retail price is pretty amazing considering how many films you're getting there. It'll be like $25 or so on Amazon, assuming they do the typical 30% off discount

WOW WB didn't tinker with the original Artwork for the sequels! Hopefully they leave the logo's alone lol Anyhow they will be priced very well to purchase.

That's a great price. I was kind of skeptical, but I'm all in for this.

However, I guess I will have to pick up the 40th anniversary set...

My only questions, why won't it be including the 40th Anniversary Exorcist Bonus Features discs?
And no Dominion solo release?!

I'm really only interested in II and III, as I already have the DVD anthology, but it will likely end up costing the same (or even perhaps cheaper) just to get the complete set.

Except buying the singles (if you need them all) will be pricier than buying the box if it's around $20-$25.

It also looks like Dominion is not getting a single release.

I would bet on a slipbox case with a BLU ray multi disc case inside.

I know, I have to see what the prices of the films will be on Amazon to see if its feasible to get singles or buy the box set

Yeah, should be something like that. I just hope Warner doesn't stack any discs, as they've been notorious for doing it.

More September goodies.. UGH !!

I own 3 versions of the first Exorcist which puts me in the same boat as others who have multiple versions.. The box set appears to be cheaper than individually - but Im not interested in Part II, and really don't need another edition of the first one..

I have the blu ray digibook, the 40th anniversary set that came out last year and a very collectible DVD gift set (this is the same as the Time Machine Gift Set and the Superman Gift sets with all the bells and whistles) I wish they made blu ray sets like those, but I guess those are now reserved for The Wizard of Oz , Gone with the Wind, Ben Hur and even Willy Wonka !!

Great news! It'd been a while since I had heard anything about this so I'm happy to finally have some confirmation. What a great price too! I'm all over this one for sure.

Thankfully the others (minus Dominion) are getting individual releases. I'll snatch up Exorcist 3.
