Default My new reference BD!

I've purchased a number of BD's (about 20) and most of them have been very good. Some didn't impress at all and I should have just bought the regular DVD version, but that happens!

Anyway, on to my choice for a reference BD! This film just blew me away in terms of both audio and video quality.

My choice is: DAVE MATTHEWS: Live At Radio City Music Hall

Everything about this concert film is 5-Star and its going to have a lot of views in the years to come. It felt like Dave and Tim were in my freagin' living room! Wow! Stunning! Spectacular!

good to hear, I am usually more impressed with live shows video quality over film quality. Something about live recording gives it more pop (especially in HD)

I haven't seen DM Band's blu but I guess it must be spectacular. I will say the movie that has impressed me the most is 2001. Knowing now how old that movie is was left in total awe!

Nice one, it really is fantastic.

Have you ever been to a D+T show or DMB show...at the Amphitheatre maybe?

I've seen DMB 33 times all across North America since November 1998 at Maple Leaf Gardens, but have yet to get to a D+T show.

Video yes but audio no way. Remember this was a 24/96 TrueHD track. I can only dream of movies using it.

While I'm not a big fan of Dave Matthews, I have to agree that this disc is both reference video and audio. The only live action on par with it for picture is POTC: Deadman's Chest.
