United Kingdom Batman (1989) - Diamond Luxe Edition [Zavvi Exclusive] - Nov 10th 2014

We're getting the 25th Anniversary Edition of Burton's Batman as a Zavvi Exclusive. It appears that the new extras, both of which comprise Disc 2, are Batman Reunited (in HD) and a 1989 documentary called The Making of a Hero (in SD).

I've got this on pre-order with Amazon.com... even with international shipping it works out a bit cheaper so I think I'll stick with my original order.

I've given up on Amazon.com since they started to slap Import Fees Deposit on almost everything regardless of price (including items well below customs threshold). Marketplace all the way for me now. I'll be putting my order in after release.

You need to select the cheapest shipping to avoid the import fees deposit, with that not applied. It is only included if you select the courier or middle priced shipping.

They really should do a proper release for this film and include all the deleted scenes, so far we have only seen small clips of deleted material. Also more interviews or commentary with Jack Nicholson would be great.

Yes, but you have to wait up to a month. It rarely takes that long but I've had the odd one that has taken forever. They shouldn't be applying it to items below the customs limit.

I didn't realise it was the same transfer

I couldn't care less about a dated 89 doc, and unless the Batman Reunited is a longer piece I see no reason to double dip. It already has a great blu ray! I would however get Gremlins since i never owned it before. (Worried about Zavvi's transfer of these though, they look pretty flimsy)

They don't (always). I added Krull which is $9.99 to my basket and it doesn't add the Import Fees Deposit. It did with Batman and a cheaper Futurama box set however.

I think it's automatically set by the system and at the moment it's lowballing it's criteria to apply the deposit. Might be worth messaging Amazon but they're pretty vague when it comes to discussions regarding Import VAT.

I've just ordered Prophecy box set $13 and not import charges.

My Halloween deluxe set arrived today and I did pay $20 import tax for that. But it was a large box and the set cost $86 so maybe it's over a certain amount?
