Default Blu-Ray could sell more if....

the stores have them in stock!! When i go to Best Buy, Borders or Circuit City, they are always out of stock. What's with that? After the initial inventory sells out, they don't seem to restock them for a while. I go to the stores after work (3:00 PM) on the release date and I always come up empty handed. I have yet to find the DieHard box set, Ratatouille took two weeks to find, CE3K has been out of stock since release date, if they were to keep better inventory the sales records would definitely increase.

But when they start to sell more, they will keep them in stock. It is a vicious cycle.
I know I would have purchased one this past week if I found it, but I never did so I didn't buy anything. But the sales numbers already show that people are buying them. Maybe they are underestimating their selling power and sell out quickly.

Stock is not the problem here. CC has a crap load of both Blu Ray and HD DVD.

But its the pricing at CC is what is crazy and I think its why people are turned off buy the whole thing. When you can get them online a heck of alot cheaper. I would buy them all the time at CC but not for $27.99 - $34.99 a disc. Thats insane.

The average joe looks at pricing on HD disc compared to SD DVD's and just buy the SD DVD. They save like $10.00 a disc. Thats alot to the average person.

CC's pricing is hilarious.

They need a 30% off sale just to get down to decent prices.
