Are Resident Evil movies good? - Blu-ray Forum

I remember i watched the first movie a couple of years ago and i liked it. I'm considering spend the next weekend and rent all the movies, but wanna know what you guys think, are they good or not worthy?

Obviously there is an audience for these, me myself enjoyed most of them.

I think they're excellent FUN movies. If you're open minded about these just remember going in that they're not going to be exactly like the games if at all. They're just original stories that take characters and creatures from the games and do their own thing with them.

Beautiful women, evil crows, evil Dobermans, cool stunts, and even beautiful women who are cloned into hundreds of beautiful women.

These Resident Evil movies are right good. Resident Evil: Extinction is my favorite of the lot.

They're just B-movies, but they're fun for a weekend movie marathon.

Agreed - I tried them out but couldnt get into them. Most film series that have this many entries get a little long in the tooth and usually one or more of the films in the series is terrible. Try them though.

As usual - the first couple tend to be the best and they get progressively worse.

But i asked becsuse for example watching the twilight movies was a complete waste of time. I wanted to know how good or bad are these for you guys (in general).

I'm curious but i dont have too much coins in my pocket and dont want to regret it. Hehe

I own all of them but the 2nd and 4th one are the worst. The 2nd one was good at first but didn't hold up well over the years. The 1st and 5th are really entertaining. The 3rd one is decent also. The 5th one in particular looks and sounds amazing on bluray and has an amazing and memorable opening. If you like dumb action and decent horror, in regards to the first one, this and the Underworld series are for you. At least once......
