Default Untitled Universal Monsters Film (4/21/17)

Quote:
With The Mummy already set to hit on June 24, 2016, Universal Pictures has set a mystery Universal Monsters film for release on Friday, April 21, 2017. It's the first film to claim that date.

There's no word yet on what the focus of the mystery film will be, but it will follow The Mummy, which boasts a screenplay by Prometheus scribe Jon Spaihts and is set to be directed by Alex Kurtzman. Kurtzman also serves as a producer alongside Roberto Orci, Chris Morgan and Sean Daniel. Bobby Cohen will executive produce.

A Van Helsing feature is also said to be in the works, although there's no word on whether or not that might be the project to claim this new date.

What Universal Monster do you want to most see back on the big screen? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

Creature From The Black Lagoon would be interesting if done right, keeping the blood and gore down and casting it right and not with whoever is the flavor of the month. My biggest worry is Kurtzman and Orci .

1. The Mummy sequels
2. The Wolfman
3. Frankenstein
4. Frankenstein vs the Wolfman
5. Dracula
6. Creature from the Black Lagoon
7. The Invisible Man
8. Phantom of the Opera
9. all the rest of the above in their many sequels (a great undertaking) in the same classic Universal Monsters atmosphere(nothing else will do)!

In the next Wolfman, they really need to reveal if he's got nards.

Clint Eastwood could reprise his role as the lab technician.

That was the sequel Revenge of The Creature, but that would be awesome.
