Default Iron Sky: The Coming Race

There is currently a Crowd Funding page to raise money for the Iron Sky sequel. Here is the link if you want to support this movie.

Quote:
Twenty years after the events of Iron Sky, the former Nazi Moonbase has become the last refuge of mankind. Earth was devastated by a nuclear war, but buried deep under the wasteland lies a power that could save the last of humanity – or destroy it once and for all. The truth behind the creation of mankind will be revealed when an old enemy leads our heroes on an adventure into the Hollow Earth. To save humanity they must fight the Vril, an ancient shapeshifting reptilian race and their army of dinosaurs.

Yes, you're reading it right: it's Iron Sky meets Jurassic Park goes Indiana Jones.

So now they're throwing in a knockoff of the Race from Harry Turtledove's Worldwar series?

I'm genuinely looking forward to this (if it gets made), I really enjoyed the first one and this seems to go for something even more delightfully stupid and insane.

And it doesn't hurt the music for these movies is provided by Laibach.

The first film was pretty underrated...now I'm embarrassed, this is simply missing the point!

The Jesus trailer is the greatest thing I've seen all 2015.

The director is doing a Google Hangout for the last 8 hours and he's gonna take a shot of bourbon for every $1000 that gets raised from here on out.

So apparently, according to the official website, a third installment is being made with a release date of 2020/21.

This movie was hilarious when it came out for that one night showing. The theater was packed and I had to sit in the front...but worth it.

Lost interest in the sequel. Why has it been in development for years again?

Is it going to get a theatrical release or direct to video?

Okay, so it wasn't as groovy as the first film, but it sure as hell was a lot of fun. Both Udo Kier and Kit Dale looked like they were having oodles of fun hamming it up.
