Hello,

I know this movie came out in the UK this past week, according to some other posts around the forum. However, I do not know:

1. If it is region coded

and

2. Where I can actually buy it.

I have tried amazon.co.uk and sendit.com and neither of them have it. At least sendit.com has the page and it says Blu-ray, but it says unavailable.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am planning on buying this for my dad. He loves Edith Piaf.

I thought it was only released on DVD in the UK. You could try the French Blu Ray.

I know this thread is a few years old but I wanted to upgrade this thread in case someone wanted to order this film.

I just ordered this film and ordered the Hong Kong version. The Hong Kong version has a lossless TrueHD track while the French version has a lossy DTS-HD HR track.

Subtitles: Traditional Chinese and English. Audio is French

Amazon.ca still has a couple of Region A versions available.

Its original French release as La Môme seems to be preferred by many collectors, although apparently out of print now. I own the Canadian Bi-Lingual English/French release by Sony Classics/TVA, and it is very, very good too.

I bought this version from Amazon.Fr a few years ago and was very happy with it. The movie is region free, but the DVD with the extras is in PAL.
