Default 32" Bedroom LED - Sony or Samsung

Sony - 720p KDL32R330B - $199 Best Buy

or

Samsung 1080p UN32EH5000FXZA - $229 Best Buy

Sony Quality and Style at 720p, or Samsung 1080p, just because I gain the resolution.

I will be viewing it from 7 feet away. I prefer the style of the Sony, and recently gave up my HD Sony CRT (also in the Bedroom) when I moved, which I absolutely loved.

Price difference doesn't bother me. Most of the content I will be watching in the bedroom are ripped DVD's up-scaled through a WD TV Live streaming player. On occasion I will watch Blu's in the bedroom, but usually they are reserved for my Panasonic 60" Plasma.

Can't believe this decision is so difficult for me, usually I'm the first to advise others, but LCD and LED's are foreign territory to me, and this will be my first. I am asking for help...

Is the DVD player that you'll be using, a regular player, or a 1080p upconverted DVD Player? If it's an 1080p upconverted player, then I would get the Samsung since it's 1080p. I wouldn't buy a maximum 720p HDTV, if your DVD player is capable of upscaling 1080p.
