it's a nice steelbook but havent seen this movie

In my opinion this is the kind of movie very intriguing at the beginning but that unfortunately becomes kind of a mess towards the end... I didn't read the book so I can't say if the director respected it or not, but I had the impression that Alexandre Aja is a fine director that really has to be a bit more aware of his limits... That said, I enjoyed the movie enough to order it.

sadly missed this one at the cinema...would anyone recommend it as a blind buy?
Seems like the kinda movie that could be awful but that could also be its charm and saving grace.

Mine has not shipped yet. It may be delayed as 71 was released last week 9th March but they have pushed back the steelbook to 23rd March, so 2 week delay. They always seem to hit these delays when they have a lot of steelbooks due at same time, guess must be production issues. With most though back catalogue, it does not matter if those slip late.

Also, I know this isn't really the right thread but did anyone else order the Superbad [1988 Gallery] Steel from Zavvi and know what's up with that?

I received a few emails about it saying they were sorry it hadn't shipped, but the last one was ages ago.

It's not even listed on the site anymore either.

i am in the same boat ...ordered Superbad/Kung Fu Hustle and both have been removed from Zavvi for some reason & have moved to a 6 April release.

while on the subject of the horns steel-book ...is it uncut or not ?

someone previously mentioned the UK version was cut just for the UK cinemas?
yet the release on Amaray is 18..

just trying to clear it up if its uncut on the steelbook.
