United Kingdom Best blu-ray blind-buy of this year for you?

What was the best 2014 release that you blind-added to your collection?

I'm still awaiting my order of the Boro box but of the stuff I already have, I love my blind-buys of Salvatore Giuliano from Arrow on blu-ray and The Jester's Tale from Second Run on DVD.

Definitely The Sopranos. Of course I heard people praising it before but I had never actually seen it.

Battlestar Galactica close second... both quickly became some of my favourite shows.

Harold and Maude.

An absolute joy of a film and completely unknown to me until Masters of Cinema released it. I can barely put into words how much I loved every second of it.

The LEGO Movie

I didn't see it in the cinema, but after having watched it on blu-ray, I agree with the popular opinion of it being very good.

Although to be honest, I expected all three to be fantastic, so not much of a surprise.

I really enjoyed the White Queen series - for $9.99 (or really 0 because of my amazon credit) - it was an easy blind buy as I do like BBC historical fiction dramas. Pretty good companion piece to the Tudors (with similar historical inaccuracies but didn't detract me too much). We'll see if the sequel without the BBC actually gets made (last heard in Apr they were writing the scripts).

"Mark of the Devil" because I only heard of it through Arrow Video. Quite a good film and a good package.

I quite enjoyed The Maiden Heist when I watched it a few years ago. I think part of the problem is that the cover and the title completely miss-sell it. It's a quirky, throwaway, light-hearted romp yet the blu ray coved makes it out to be some kind of crime thriller.
