Still kinda shocked they left with the job security they had but with Greg and Colin's following there is no doubt in my mind that KindaFunny will be a huge hit. As for Podcast Beyond! I would like to see Marty Sliva and Brian Altano take their spots and add Jared Petty as the third chair.

They must not have been making good money. They might have tons of followers, but they might fade away without the backing of the largest video game website. IGN is huge which is why they were so successful. In 5 years, we will see

Yea I agree, that they must not have been making good money.

But, lot of these Game Journalists are going independent/Freelance.
Are we seeing a new trend now??
Jim Sterling left The Escapist
Adam Sessler left Rev3Games
and now this.....
Since they have lot of following, there is a good chance of success.
But there is lot of competition also, with lot of youtubers like
Totalbiscuit , Angry Joe with millions of subscribers.

I hope KindaFunny will be a success.

I've always like Greg Miller and Colin Moriarty. Greg is a bit loud and can be a bit annoying from time to time but overall I still like him. I really like Colin, he's probably my favorite IGN personality along with Marty and Brian. I hope their YouTube stuff works out well for them. I'll definitely be keeping up with their work through Kinda Funny.

Greg is just annoying. I'm sure he plays well to the kids though.

I'm surprised that IGN kept them on podcast beyond even though they dont work at IGN now

I'm at work and don't have audio but who is the guy on the right? I ask because although I can't hear him the way he's moving around and how fast it looks like he's talking I imagine him to be very annoying. Annoying like 90% of people who make videos for Youtube.

Never liked Greg Miller he was an arrogant a-hole PlayStation fanboy so glad he doesn't work for IGN any more. Even in videos that weren't about PlayStation he'd still make about it in some way.

If there's anyone I hope that never leaves IGN then that's Daemon he's awesome!

Anyway, I just use IGN for FaceBook news posts and such. It's been ages since I've seen the Daily Fix and Naomi's the reason.

and sometimes it feels like it has nothing to do with playstation, actually none of them comes across like a playstation fan to me!

Oddly enough I don't miss them at all...well I miss Colin. For some reason the over the top Greg was annoying to me. Always felt like that kid who needed attention and if he didnt get it, he would get louder and louder until he did.

I do wish the new podcast had more structure, but I like that it feels like a free forum for discussion. I thought the last one was great talking about Until Dawn, etc.
