Default The Houses October Built (01/06/2015)

The BD is currently a Best Buy Exclusive. Other places have the DVD.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/the-hous...-buy/1440165.p

The BD comes with a textured slipcover. The BD includes a documentary about the making of the film that is not on the DVD.

I picked this up as a blind buy today. Never heard mention of it before but it was cheap at 12.99 so i took a chance.

I'm always up for a good Halloween movie, so I watched this on Netflix last night. There were a handful of creepy scenes, but it was so boring that I barely made it through. It was a good idea, but the execution fell completely flat for me.

Loved it, can't wait for part 2
Surprised that this did not get more activity.

I didn't love it, but did find it enjoyable and worth a purchase. I too am looking forward to part 2 as I'm curious what direction they go with the film/franchise.

I would highly recommend you check out Hell House LLC. It is currently on Amazon Prime video. Maybe other ways to watch as well. Very cool and creepy film.

Ended up getting a double feature bundle of 1 & 2 on VUDU for $17.29. Haven't seen the first one since on Netflix several years back.

Hell House, LLC was really enjoyable. I liked it better than The Houses October Built. I wonder if there will be a blu-ray release.

As of right now just a DVD release through their Facebook page. I would love to get a blu-ray release. I loved the movie, but I just can't bring myself to spend $14.99 on a DVD release.

Can anyone recommend THOB 2? Vudu has a bundle up this weekend for $4.99 and I might get it for the second movie.

I thought I remembered reading somewhere that only the original Best Buy-exclusive blu-ray had the original THOB documentary. Can anyone that bought it later from another retailer confirm if the documentary is on it?
