Default PotC:3 or Superbad

Alright, I have given myself an allowance of one Blu-Ray title this week (will be grabbing a ton next week)... so, which should I get?

I have not seen either of these movies, but enjoyed the first 2 Pirates moves and also love all things Apatow (Freaks and Geeks, Knocked Up, Office Space).

Any opinions? I realize they are two completely different types of movies. I'm leaning towards pirates, just because I'm sure it will be more of a showcase for others... but which has more entertainment value?

If you are thinking BOGO, I don't think Disney will include this as one of the offerings for a few months. They are going to want to make as much money as they can first. They aren't going to be offering it as a BOGO say, next week when Bourne Unltimatum comes out next week. It is offered at Target with a $10 gift card if you purchase one of the other Pirates movies with it. I wonder if Amazon is going to be that sale too, like they did with Ratatouille and Cars and Pixar Shorts.

i saw superbad, it was really funny so i'm getting that tomorow...i have a feeling POTC3 will be long and boring but beautiful as far as PQ/AQ...POTC2 wasn't the best film..the beach scene where the monsters fight reminded me of a power rangers episode..anyways, still getting POTC3, need to finish this trilogy...

in conclusion, get superbad first

Both!!! Well, since you can only choose one I'd go with POTC since it's supposed to be a perfect video transfer as well as a killer pcm soundtrack. You'll enjoy the experience of watching it alot more than superbad.

What is this "allowance" crap? Get both. Skip a couple meals if you have to.

I preferred Superbad, but POTC 3 will look more impressive.

I didn't like the ending all that much on POTC3. But will not discuss it here cause of spoilers.

Pirates to finish off your collection. Then rent Superbad and wait for a sale on that one.

Can't wait for Pirates. Gettin' all tingly about it.

I actually haven't seen Pirates yet but i'd go for that instead of Superbad, special effects in blu over a comedy movie with not so great directing, personly I only laughed a few times on Superbad, it wasn't really that good in my opinion so its a pass for me.

No competition. If you want a Blu experience buy Pirates. Get superbad on dvd.
