Default TV Revivals You Wish Could Happen

With shows like 24, Twin Peaks, Heroes, and even possibly The X-Files getting a revival, what shows would you love to have a revival?

Personally I'd love to finally get a conclusion to Dark Angel.

I've been hoping that NBC would bring back ER for a limited run series. Also Torchwood.

I'd love to see a third and final season of The Kingdom (Riget). Unfortunately this won't and can't happen because two of the main actors passed away over a decade ago, and either way the surviving cast members are too old to continue directly from where it left off.

The best time travel TV series and it never got a proper finale. What became the last episode only raised more questions than it did provide answers.

Too many to mention so ill do a few of my tops.
Chuck, Almost Human, Terminator TSCC, Firefly and Stargate. Funny that three of the five were on Fox.

That's a sad fact. I sadly never got into Terminator or Firefly but that's not for lack of interest. I just never got started with them. And I'm also gonna get into chuck at some point.

Oh, definitely agreed there. I tried writing my own sequel script some time ago, but got stuck a few pages in after getting to the purpose of Sam's current Leap.

I'd also love to see a follow-up or reboot of "Time Trax". That show was great, but it only lasted two years. One reason, in my opinion, was the writers tried doing too much every week, and they brought in Darien's nemesis Dr. Sahmbi way too often.

Every time I described Time Trax in middle school, everyone thought I was talking about your show.

Time Trax rocked
(And it's better than QL)

Ah, Time Trax. One of the three shows (along with Kung Fu: The Bullshit Continues and Babylon 5) that Warner rolled out when they attempted their syndicated Prime Time Entertainment Network (PTEN). I remember settling in in front of the TV back in Dayton at 1am on Sunday nights/Monday mornings to catch the next B5 episode, and I still get a tiny thrill when I see/hear the PTEN fanfare:

While I don't want a revival of Freaks & Geeks per se, I would love to see a sort of reunion specials, to see where all of the characters are ten years later, and how they've dealt with adult hood.

Speaking of Sorkin, "Newsroom" so sad to see this gone after just 3 seasons

Yes, Alex gets shot literally in the final minute of Trial By Fire and lies bleeding on the courthouse floor as it cuts to black. CBS had planned to do a series of Walker movies, but Trial By Fire had poor ratings. It was hardly advertised (I didn't even know about it until literally the night before it aired, when I saw a very short 10-second ad), and I think was even delayed in some markets by a sporting event. CBS then cancelled their plans for subsequent films.

^^^ Maybe its a good thing that I missed it if it ended up ending in such a way. That is how The Glades show ended. The lead guy was shot at the end of what ended up being the final episode and I hate it because we never find out who did it and we don't know if he lives or not. He was shot just before what was supposed to be his wedding.

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. Thank you for telling me about the movie. I hate that it wasn't concluded.
