Let's hope it is the longer international version and not the US cut with all the Christian Slater scenes missing.

I don't mind Zavvi stepping up their game, but what is it going to cost with all the goodies?
I don't Zavvi doing this, but if they are going to add goodies the price will probably rise also...if that is the case they really need to slow down on the amount of steelbooks they release. That being said I am liking this one and will probably pick it up...brings back memories of senior week '98. Last edited by Smigro; 04-10-2015 at 02:06 PM. |

This release is just a redressing of the previous edition, so buy with confidence. BTW, isn't the automated censorship on this b*ll*cks? Anyone living in s.c.u.n.t.h.o.r.p.e has a really difficult time with it... |

Oops! Just checked and you're certainly right on that one!
Now not so sure that it will be the international version, as the standard Blu packaging and that of their upcoming DVD release are exact to the old US New Line disc - even the flash across the top looks like it. The possibility is that they have just licensed the US HD transfer and gotten the extras (for there was nothing on the UK one) and artwork rights as sweeteners. Until some more detailed info comes around, it's all speculation and something with which to pass the time at work. Last edited by WilsonBros; 04-10-2015 at 05:44 PM. |

like some films that have multiple versions such as anchorman you really do need to look into getting the version you like as they are not all equal...such as if you want the best out of it you need to invest in both the USA and also the UK version since the USA variant had a lot of cuts to it due to British humour/jokes not playing out well to American audiences during the pre-shows so there are lots of missing sections only available in the UK cut and so had alternate parts replaced in the USA edition irrelevant as to whether the quality of the USA transfer being slightly better some parts didn't fit well with the nature of the humour. as mentioned i have them all, ..the USA original triple box-set not the shagtastic version and also the original UK 1st revision and when you watching them they are all grainy so take them images with a pinch of salt. ![]() |
