I would be in for a couple that I missed out on, but why these...especially considering BB already did SB's for these.

Noah
Saving Private Ryan
Star Trek (2009)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014
Transformers 4

and these were done by other retailers.

Hercules (2014) (Walmart)
The Wolf of Wall Street (Target)

Looks like BB is turning into Zavvi.

Just saw this on Instagram, I think I already have what I want but might be in for Raiders, I think that's new in the U.S.

It would be nice if they re-released the Future Shop Harry Potter Steelbooks.

Curious about the Indy steel... Past experience tells me this won't look nearly as good as the Zavvi version. Glossy though without the embossing may make me purchase it however

If they're dirt cheap, like <$10, I'd consider Hercules (the movie is pretty bad, but I love the look of the steel), and......yeah, that's about it.

These will probably be a little different from the previous Target/Walmart versions:

No more DVDs
No more second BDs with adtl Bonus Features
No more 3D if the 3D was included

I assume Saving Private Ryan won't contain the 2 disc with all the great bonus features.

I can live without the second disc. I'll definitely be going for Star Trek to go with my Into Darkness steel.

Is it too hard to give us a completely new roster of movies? I will buy a few I don't have but man let's get some new stuff out there already. It's like they know the collectors will keep buying re-releases if they change it up a bit. That's not a great way to treat your audience.

It's not so much selling re-releases as they simply never sold out the original inventory.

Yeah that part is annoying;

Buying these online after the scalpers pick up all the story copies..only for them to be re-released down the road again.

They were already BB exclusives at one point....leave them as such. Don't re-issue them again though at least the artworks all appear to be the same as their originals

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan is really the only new one here. I am disappointed.

As a sucker.....I mean steelbook enthusiast, I'll probably pick up Saving Private Ryan and Raiders, assuming the latter has at least some kind of gloss to it. Embossing/debossing I don't really care about since it is just a Best Buy exclusive, but the image lends itself so well to a glossy finish.

In Canada we had 2 different steenboks for Hercules. The Walmart set was just the 2D version (Hercules standing and written down the side in black the title) and the Future Shop was a 3D release with the same 3D cover art the regular Blu-ray got.

TWoWS was a Walmart release up here and looked pretty bad art wise. Hope they give you guys more of the European cover art design instead
