Hopefully they'd reintroduce the original Tron on steel like they did with the reissue of Roger Rabbit recently?

Missed out on Zavvi's original (and it goes for too much now on fleabay) but that'd be cool to have both that and this one (if it includes 3D

)

Passed on the German steel, since the only copies they had at Saturn at the time were damaged, so this is GREAT NEWS!

Does anyone know if the Zavvi Disney discs are usually region-locked, or might this play on a region A player?

Most of the time, yes. All my Disney steels show ABC regions on the J-card, except At World's End, which is reportedly region-free as well.

Some are region locked even though the say region free on the j-card. You will physically need to look at the disc

Since it only happens very rarely that a Zavvi Exclusive is anything but the already existing disc in new and shiny wrapping, you can have a look in the database here on br.com and check existing releases for Region coding.

Based on that, this release should be at least A and B.
