What was the last time you caught yourself with this kind of expression on your face when watching a beautifully restored older film on Blu-ray?
![]() And yeah, as the title suggests, movies that came out after 1990 don't count! Mine has got to be Quatermass and the Pit - watched it last week, and wow, the transfer is simply awesome. I quite enjoyed the movie, too - those old-school sci-fi flicks are fun to watch sometimes. I am expecting The First Men on the Moon to be a treat as well - haven't got around to watching it yet. So what was the last "classic" visual stunner for you? Bring 'em on! Last edited by GentleGiant; 05-01-2015 at 02:42 PM. |

![]() ![]() Sorcerer looks great, perhaps a bit brighter than it should IMO, but that's only because that's how I was used to seeing it; dark and drab. |
