I could easily watch a 3 hour cut of this film. Hope for lots of deleted scenes

Well, considering that it showed around here in theaters for approximately 5 minutes, it looks like July 14 will be the first chance I get to see this. Definitely day one for me. This looks right up my alley.

The DTS-HD track on the UK disc is superb. My subwoofer was getting quite the workout, surprising for a dialogue driven movie.

I can't imagine the DTS X track

Since it's an in-house Lionsgate home video object remix, I would assume the same post house that handled their Atmos remix of John Wick handled the DTS:X (MDA) remix as well.

JW's Atmos mix gets fairly high marks for immersiveness.

If you mean, does it have the same problems in terms of plot as Sunshine, like a wonky last act, then no. I think the ending is the best thing about Ex Machina. I don't think either film was badly written though.

It's good. Picked up the UK disc, and I'd call it a modern-day Twilight Zone episode for adults. It's got good acting, cool technology, and makes you think and ask questions. Very worthwhile.
