I'll hold out a few years for the inevitable 6 disc Anthology that'll release after this current trilogy plays out.

I think I'll have to pass. I have a feeling Fury Road will be getting at the very least one badass steelbook somewhere in the world. With that plus the Scream Factory release of the first, I just have to find decent releases of Road Warrior and Beyond Thunderdome.

Could this mean that Scream Factory's version of Mad Max could go OOP sooner rather than later?

I don't think I'll ever buy an anthology set unless the studio goes all out on each film, and by that I mean a very definitive release including new transfers for all the films plus lots of extras. A simple repackaging won't even get me to think about buying it. I do need Road Warrior and MM3 back in my collection but I'm holding out for better releases.

I will probably do the same. Unless this really wows me over, or receives a massive price slash for BF.

$90?! HA! I only paid $8 a piece for the original Mad Max and Road Warrior, and I just got Thunderdome last weekend from BB for $6.

I think I'll stick with the separate releases...

I just bought the uk trilogy edition about a month ago. Wasn't crazy about any of the originals truth be told, but the pq on these were decent enough for me to just buy a steel for fury road.

I got The Road Warrior and Beyond Thunderdome for $5 apiece back during a Best Buy U&S promo, and the Scream Factory version of Mad Max for $12.99...so, almost SEVENTY DOLLARS for the inclusion of Fury Road?!

What's wrong with it? Be specific.

No man, I can't. People here will kill me. Not joking.

Said that, RW needs a different color timing.

This is Amazon's deal of the day for $47.49. Still a little too high for me personally

Still too high for me too. Especially when I already have all the movies and only want the Madness of Max disc. I really wish that would get its own separate release.

I don't know why the US gets such bad deals on box sets - the current Amazon UK price of the Anthology is £25 ($35) and the cheapest it's been is £21 ($29).

The Madness of Max bonus disc is a Region 2 PAL DVD in the UK set though.

That's a deal? You can get this thing off ebay for 5 bucks cheaper.

I just got this set.

I'm disappointed because there are no special features for The Road Warrior. It's nice that this set has a bonus disc for the original, but many consider The Road Warrior to be one of the best action films of the 80's, but it gets nothing.

I'm not bothered that no special features for Thunderdome are included since that film wasn't all that great.
