Probably just that version since 88 Films is releasing it on blu in the UK.

Oh, ok, I thought 88 Films was offering this version as well. Yeah, I like The Dead Next Door, but not enough pay for versions I really couldn't care less about. The 88 Films version will be good enough for me.

I've never even heard of this movie, but hearing about Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell's involvement has me interested.

It's really nothing special. Bruce did some adr and Raimi produced, but I don't recall his influence coming through in the film (I haven't seen it in years though). It's kind of a cult movie, but I don't remember thinking it was that great. It's very low budget.

Hello again!

I realize things have been quiet for nearly 3 weeks, but today I have good news to share: The Ultimate Edition is out of manufacturing and winging its way across the country to Tempe World Headquarters!

Our replicator originally gave us an estimated completion date of this Friday, December 18, which would have put them in our hands right around Christmas. (Bah, humbug!) However, they just advised us the project is not only finished, but has already left their warehouse more than a week early! According to the freight carrier, the discs are currently somewhere in Chicago, and should be in our hands later this week.

That means we'll be able to start shipping preorders as early as this weekend, putting it in the hands of at least some of you in time for Christmas. (Who says there's no such thing as a Christmas miracle?) I've been fielding a lot of anxious inquiries lately, and your patience will soon be rewarded!

I'll have another update once preorders are on the way to the post office, but in the meantime, here's a photo of some lonely Ultimate Collector's Edition packages sitting in my office, waiting to be boxed up and shipped off!

As an old school zombie fan, I remember the original hype about Dead Next Door in Fangoria way back when, but for some reason I never watched it. After seeing this thread, I fired up the Paypal and now I'm finally going to see this movie! On blu-ray, no less! JRB, the love of what you're doing still shines through. You have my support.
