Still Life (Eddie Marsan / Joanne Froggatt)

It looks like Uberto Pasolini's Still Life (2013), starring Eddie Marsan and Joanne Froggatt, will have its Blu-ray premiere in Japan on September 2nd, 2015, via Pony Canyon.

I saw Still Life recently and loved it, immediately imported this Blu-ray from Japan, and am very pleased with the result. The disc is region free, and has a nice reversible cover; I had no complaints in terms of picture or audio quality; and it comes with a few great extras, as follows:

a 6 min "Making Of" that shows several scenes in the process of being filmed;
a 12 min interview with lead actor Eddie Marsan;
a 12 min interview with supporting actress Joanne Froggatt;
best of all, an excellent 34 min interview with writer/producer/director Uberto Pasolini;
and two trailers.

All in all, Still Life is a wonderful little movie and this Japanese Blu-ray release courtesy of Pony Canyon does the film justice. Definitely recommended to anyone who likes or is interested in this film.

Wow! This was one of my favourite films from last year and I was very disappointed that it only received a DVD release in the UK & Australia.

Could you confirm if the film can be played without Japanese subtitles?

I received my copy of Still Life from Amazon Japan 2 days ago and am very happy with it.

Also purchased Blu Ray copies Kitano's Kids Return & Ryuzo and the Seven Henchman.
