Typically they are about, if not, same price as the regular release; only difference is that it will only be available at Target.

I would have definitely gone for one of the US exclusives but I already have the Zavvi steelbook so I'm all set

Definitely not a slipcover over it. It's most definitely a Digibook

Yes, look at the top of the book, you can see pages inside. It's definitely implied to be a Digibook, even if the stock image shows no book binding.

It's hard to say really. I think The Jungle Book said it included a storybook as well and then ended up being a separate book inside of a slipcover.

Target's The Jungle Book exclusive showed the standard cover, Aladdin is showing unique cover art. Not to mention the design lines up with most of the previous Diamond Edition Digibooks.

Notice you an see the standard Blu-ray case inside the slip. Look at the top of the Aladdin release. If this doesn't turn out to be a Digibook I'd be shocked.

The new Target ad doesn't have a BD case like what showed up for Jungle Book. Think this might be a digibook again

But the Target ad clearly states "Diamond edition with 32-page storybook. The ad does not say "Digibook."

There was some debate as to whether or not these are technically digibooks some time ago. If I recall target never called the other releases digibook either.

They were made of book-like coverings with pages in the middle and had a spot for the movie. That's a digibook IMO
